The South Taranaki District Council, in partnership with the regional economic development agency Venture Taranaki, support businesses with the tools, information and resources to start or grow.

Council is involved in a number of initiatives to support business growth and attraction in South Taranaki. These include the development of a Business Park and an Enterprise Hub events and co-working venue in Hāwera, business incentives, training and mentoring support.
