We have an opportunity for a dynamic and energetic people person with an evidenced retail background to join our charity retail group in HAWERA as its HospiceShop Team Leader.

This role will ideally fit with someone who has a hands-on attitude and leads from the front. Our HospiceShops receive a wide range of donated goods for resale to generate funds to support our community hospice services across Taranaki. All forms of pre-owned clothing form a large part of our business so a flair for presentation and promotion of quality items in our showroom will be an important part of this position.

Our organisation has a high reliance on volunteers and the ability to empathise with and lead a team of older persons is critical to this role’s success. We offer a supportive environment with daily fun and involvement with a group of people committed to supporting the community of Hawera and the work of our hospice. We have an immediate start available and welcome your interest in this exciting opportunity.

25 paid hours per week (including unpaid 30-minute daily meal breaks):
- Mondays: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturdays: 8:30 am to 2:00 pm
Start date: ASAP by mutual agreement
Please note that a good level of fitness is required as the role will involve a bit of lifting and being on your feet for most of the day.
