About the job:



We’re looking for an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our team to success! Based in New Plymouth, you will be responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance for the New Plymouth branch and sub-branches.



Within this role you will work to meet and exceed job requirements through the resourcing and delivery of construction, drilling, repair and maintenance works relative to District Councils and contract activities.



You will effectively manage resources including the supervision of your employee’s learning and development, delivering excellence in contract service and customer relationship management, achieving and setting goals and proactively leading your team with a safety focus.



What you’ll need:



A relevant Engineering or Operations Qualification is desirable;
Contracting, project management and strong experience leading a team to success!
Technical skills in Water and/or Wastewater networks
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and clients
A sound commitment to Health and Safety


All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
